Annie Walker

Main Instruments: Voice, harp, English bagpipes (yes, there is a big difference between English and Scottish pipes!), flute and a little guitar.

Annie loves to sing and play, and enjoys listening to and writing music from almost every genre except modern jazz. Her voice has been compared to everyone from Maddy Prior (Steeleye Span) to Stevie Nicks (Fleetwood Mac), but she's never really seen it herself!

Annie is passionate about a lot of things - traditional music, good books, simple food, medieval history, firelight, creativity and the right of everyone to make and live a life that they love. She particularly loves performing when the audience decides to join in :-)

Tim Walker

Main Instruments: Voice, guitar, bass guitar, trumpet, cornet, drums, percussion, whistles... and lots of others!

Tim has been playing various instruments for almost 30 years now, in most musical styles that you could think of - even modern jazz, which irritates Annie no end... Melodies and arrangements are Tim's forte, and he enjoys nothing better than live performance, which is why he is usually out playing most evenings! He plays in a number of traditional and contemporary bands, as well as passing on his love of music through teaching.

Tim's enthusiasm for music is nothing if not catching, and he'll have you up and dancing, or even playing on stage, if you don't watch out!
