Love Song For Friends
Back at Xilophone, the 11th British Filkcon, a group of people decided to record my and Tim's song, "Love Song for Friends". A *lot* of the attendees sang on it, but very few copies were ever made.
I have one.
I offer it here in memory of Greg McMullan, who sat next to me in my very first filksing, and made me feel welcome. I offer it here as a way of letting Maya McMullan know that she isn't alone, and that whatever we can do, we will do, as friends and as a community.

Greg McMullan died in a fire at the townhouse he shared with his wife Maya and stepdaughter Faeryn (who were not at home at the time) on Saturday 26th January 2008.
He was a much-loved member of the filk community, both online and at conventions both in the US and abroad, always smiling, friendly, and involved. He was a quiet, gentle man who never pushed himself into the limelight, but made friends whereever he went.

Greg and Maya's house, and all their possesssions barring a few pictures, are completely destroyed. Many filkers, both near and far away, have asked if there is anything they can do to assist. If you wish to make a donation, Scott has provided instructions on his LJ, which are reproduced below:
