Imagine a place where your dreams can come true, a place where you can be a gypsy, a highwayman, a princess or just yourself. Now imagine the soundtrack to those dreams - what you are hearing is the sound of "Wilderwood", an acoustic duo from the heart of rural England.

Using a mixture of strings, woodwind, brass and percussion to back up our vocals, "Wilderwood" sing both original and traditional songs giving them our own, distinctive twist.

Whether we are singing in an ancient woodland or modern convention centre, we aim to enchant our listeners into forgetting their worries and stresses. Step into a performance by "Wilderwood" and you can be whomever, or whatever you wish - your only limitations are your own dreams.

"Wilderwood" comprises Tim and Annie Walker. Tim takes on most of the guitar work as well as all the brass and percussion, leaving Annie free to sing and play harp, flute and english bagpipes. Our music has been compared to Steeleye Span, Stevie Nicks and Annie Lennox, but in truth it is a wholly original sound which owes as much to medieval chansons as it does to modern jazz and the blues.
