Wilderwood - a place for the dreamers

MP3s

In 1999, we produced a 7-track EP called "Dreams Incarnate". This is sadly now out of print, but we offer here a couple of tracks in .m4a (iTunes-playable) format.

1. Oak Trees and Candlelight - Annie says, "What a happy song - what a happy night. The moon was so full and so bright it was almost like sunlight. The foxes barked and the badger cubs played just feet away whilst I played harp under the oak tree at midsummer. It doesn't get any better than that."

2. Old Gods - Gothic horror writer H.P. Lovecraft wrote of madmen summoning evil gods from another dimension - very strange books! We were struck by the overwhelming shortsightedness of these cultists, who always seemed to eaten by the things that they had summoned. Why? What on earth was going on in their minds?

Lyrics

Alienor Regine - Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine. Beautiful, powerful and largely forgotten.
Ernest's Face - A song in memory of my great-uncle Ernest, whose memory is still bright.
Wind to the Sea - "Aim for the moon. That way, if you miss, you land in the stars..."
