Pricing

We have a very simple pricing structure, which should make pricing up your stay simple and straightforward. We don't charge per person, and we don't charge extra for linens, towels, tea-making facilities or pet deposits.

The cottage is £55 per night, all inclusive*, whatever the time of year (minimum 2 nights stay).

We offer a 10% discount for late availability bookings, which we define as a break which is taken within the same month that it is booked.

We do ask for either full payment via paypal, or 25% deposit by cheque or cash upon booking, details of which can be found on our booking page.

(*) There is an option for wireless internet access in the cottage which costs an extra £10, regardless of length of stay. As many people prefer not to factor this cost into their stay, we have left it as optional - if you require this service, simply inform us (if paying by cheque or cash) or place it in your shopping basket on the booking page if paying online.

What is Included in our Pricing Structure?

We firmly believe in treating our guests as we would like to be treated ourselves. Confusing pricing structures based on sliding scales for different levels of occupancy? Far too difficult. We think that people want to find out certain things about a holiday cottage from a website: what it looks like, whether it is big enough, if it is free for the time needed and what it will cost.

Walker's Cottage costs £55 per night through the summer and through the winter. Yes, holiday cottages usually cost more in the summer, ours doesn't. Yes, most holiday cottages charge extra for heating in the winter, ours doesn't. We find that, on the whole, it evens out. And what is more important is that it makes booking with us really easy. It's a holiday - it's meant to be easy and relaxing!

So remember - £55 a night. For everything.
